FAQ
No. Our work is educational and supportive, not psychotherapy. We help you understand stress, build resilience, and develop practical tools, but we do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
We provide coaching, education, and consulting, not licensed counseling or psychotherapy. If you are looking for clinical mental health treatment, we encourage you to connect with a licensed professional, and our work can complement that care.
No. Our services complement, but do not replace, care from licensed medical and mental health professionals. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please seek care from a qualified provider.
Integration is the work of making sense of a significant or altered-state experience after it happens, and translating what surfaced into self, everyday life, and relationships. Using nervous system education and somatic practices, we help you settle, reflect, and take small, practical steps at your own pace.
No. We offer integration support only, and psychedelics remain illegal in Utah. We work with people only after their experiences. We do not supply, administer, or recommend any substance, we neither encourage nor discourage its use, and we do not help plan or prepare for it. Integration support is non-clinical education and somatic practice. It is not psychotherapy or medical treatment, and it never replaces care from licensed medical and mental health professionals.

Yes. We offer in-person workshops, training, and speaking, and we travel for engagements, including internationally. Starting Point Consulting is based in Utah and works nationwide. Individuals and families, students and educators, healthcare professionals and first responders, leaders and teams, organizations, and communities, anyone carrying more than they were meant to carry alone.
Individual session and package pricing is listed with each individual service. Workshops, speaking, leadership programs, and organizational partnerships are customized based on the scope of the engagement, audience size, preparation, travel, and program needs. We provide clear pricing before any work begins.
Individual sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed, may be charged in full, and within a package may be considered a used session. For organizational engagements, workshops, and speaking, deposit and rescheduling terms are set out in your proposal. Full terms are in our Terms & Conditions and Client Service Agreement.
